Aboard the ISD II Hammer...

You walk through the large, cold, lifeless durasteel sliding door. When the hiss of stale, recycled air hits your face you start to wonder why you ever took this job to begin with. It's clear your robust physique was a factor in your hiring, but you long to be more than just a piece of eye-candy for gawking admirers. However, when you see the new busty hospitality droid walking by, you slyly calibrate yourself for the occasion; this definitely isn't going to be a typical Monday.

"Beet, this is garbage. It reads like dirty fanfic for droids." Lieutenant Commander Xye said, looking up from the data pad the droid had given him for review.

"Well, it is." BE-37 said.

"Ok, well, your droid erotica is garbage, and so is writing in the second person."

"I'll take your feedback in to consideration, Lieutenant Commander Xye," BE said, the servos in his arm spinning up.

"Turn down passive aggression by 45%." Xye said.

"That's not how that works, sir."

"Well, this also isn't how my drink order works. You're a lousy bartender and writer, BE." Xye dropped the datapad menu turned droid novella on the bar.

"Oh. Sorry. I'll go find that," the droid said, walking away toward the refresher.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

"Stupid! Stupid droid. Why can't you ever get anything right?" BE said, glaring at himself in the mirror.

"Excuse me," someone said, trying to squeeze in behind BE.

"Greetings, Major Genie. Are you inquiring about this bag of spice on the sink?"

"Um. No. Never mind. I'll be going." Major Genie said, leaving, probably without flushing.

"Excellent. Have a wonderful day, sir." BE then filled a glass with refreshing recycled water and inspected the glass for contaminants. He then walked back to the bar with the cup in his three-clawed hand.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

"Wow, thanks BE. The old refresher special again?" Xye asked.

"It merely adds some tang to the beets, sir." BE said, his photoreceptors scanning for literally anyone else to talk to. Captain Bai'et is sitting at the end of the bar, alone. Like usual, not really in a sad way just in a way that kind of make you think.

"Greetings, Captain Bai'et!" BE said.

"Here, I had BE make you his special." Xye said, sliding the glass down the bar.

"Thanks! You know how much I love to shotgun entire glasses of lightly fermented beet juice!" Captain Bai'et said, then did exactly that.

"BE, will you ever learn?" Xye asked.

"Learn what, sir?"

Captain Bai'et suddenly stumbles off his stool and runs for the refresher.

"Fool me once, BE. Fool me once."

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

"Admiral, the effects of my BE-37 special have only been rumored to have mild hallucinogenic properties at best; the reports of feeling the durasteel walls breathing around you while under the effects of my BE special can't be proven."

BE said, looking at itself in the mirror of the refresher again. "Ok. You can do this, BE. They'll buy it this time. You're not going to get a memory wipe." BE walked out of the refresher and back to the bar, where a technician in a completely regulation mustache sits. Captain Bai'et is still at the bar, now talking to an artificial plant about the nature of the universe.

"Well, time for your memory wipe!" The tech said as he switched BE off.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

"Can it all be saved?"

"Yes sir, I believe most of it can be. Some may just be partial however, I'm afraid that-"

"Forget that! I'll take what I can get."

BE's photoreceptors flickered on briefly, just long enough to see the image of Major Genie go by. BE felt his entire catalogue of droid erotica being uploaded to the Commander's personal terminal as he faded away in to his regulation bartending program.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --

"Greetings, Lieutenant Commander Xye! Here's the drink data pad, but first if you wouldn't mind reading over here..."

Name: Corp Vynn Ordos
Role: Mechanic, Alpha Squadron Flight 2
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 37 standard years
Origin: Balmorra
Description: Susceptible to seduction.
Further Info: IS Profile (Wiki)
Threat level: Low

>> Hide View <<

Education: Imperial Technical Academy on Commenor, graduate score 87/100.

Marital status: Married; 3 children.

Material status: Sufficient wealth for upkeeping closest family.

Family background: Imperial loyalist parents, average wealth, no known defectors in closest circle. Siblings attended various Imperial schools and are still in active service around the Empire.

Motivation for joining the Corps: Primary: Personal feeling of duty to protect his homeland and re-establish order and Imperial rule in the galaxy. Secondary: Employment stability and benefits.

Incident record: 10 bar fights (4 initiated), 7 late for shift, 1 working under influence (spice)

Key strengths: Extremely skilled with welding and other mechanical repair equipment: capable of quick repair of nearly any hull damage to ships. Good knowledge of mechanics of Missile Boats (primary position responsibility) and TIE craft. Positive attitude towards his responsibilities.

Known weaknesses: Not efficient working in team: prefers solitude. Limited understanding of electronics and power systems. Easily distracted by attractive humanoid females.

Risks and threats: Susceptible to seduction.

Suggested actions: Monitor social relationships with any and all humanoid females under investigation for potential espionage. Work on understanding his role as part of the team supporting Alpha Squadron. Increase motivation/incentives to pass his knowledge on to co-workers.

Summary: Corporal Ordos does not stand out from the crowd, neither physically (average height and body composition) or due to any activity. His preference for solitude results in few relationships established with his closest co-workers and/or Alpha Squadron pilots.

Ordos is valued by his co-workers for his particular skillset in mechanical repair, which enables Alpha’s craft to return to active duty an estimated 30% quicker over average replacement (OAR). His susceptibility to humanoid females can potentially be leveraged by enemy spies (both in terms of active information acquisition and potential blackmail), but can also serve as blackmail opportunity if Corporal needs to be “incentivized” to certain actions.

Name: SL Mirax Brice
Role: Mechanic, Beta Squadron Flight 1
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 28 standard years
Origin: Chazwa
Description: Loyal, dedicated and highly technical.
Further Info: IS Profile (Wiki)
Threat level: Low

>> Hide View <<

Education: No formal higher education; self-taught mechanic.

Marital status: Single.

Material status: Wealthy for her species, age and social situation.

Family background: Daughter of a chief ship mechanic working in the Chazwa Dockyards, lost mother when SL was 3 years old. No known siblings. Father still employed at ChD, above-average record and known Imperial supporter.

Motivation for joining the Corps: Ability to work on the finest starfighters (and technology) in the galaxy.

Incident record: None.

Key strengths: Excellent overall mechanical skills.

Known weaknesses: Naive. Has tendency to blindly trust others.

Risks and threats: Gullible, susceptible to exploitation by enemy agents.

Suggested actions: SL Brice’s direct CO to monitor her activities for any signs of exploitation by enemy agents.

Summary:
SL Brice was raised in a model community (below-average: poverty, crime, etc.; above-average: income, education, etc.) by a hard-working chief ship mechanic who wished his only daughter mastered his own craft. This shows in multiple expected ways: SL is easy to manipulate and mislead, has oversimplified and glorified image of the galaxy, but at the same time her technical skill is unmatched within Beta’s crew.

Her gullibility can potentially be exploited by enemy agents. However, her loyalty to the Empire remains unshaken and her perfect service record (including periodic threat assessments and notes from ISB trainers on her attendance in trainings on counterespionage) suggests she will report any activity she deems as suspicious to her superiors. SL’s technical skill deems her an excellent candidate for a future lead mechanic for a fighter squadron, but her loyalty and dedication should be tested prior to any promotions.

Name: Corp Devshak Redloc
Role: Supply Officer, Epsilon Squadron Flight 3
Race: Devaronian
Gender: Male
Age: 63 standard years
Origin: Unknown (Corruption of Data)
Description: Should be monitored for potential subversive activity. Devaronians have a confirmed history of difficulty in following orders and maintaining discipline.
Further Info: IS Profile (Wiki)
Threat level: Medium-High

>> Hide View <<

Education: No formal higher education.

Marital status: Single.

Material status: Average for his race, age and social situation.

Family background: Records inconsistent (crypto department detected no sign of forgery, suspected corruption of data through database damage during the rebel insurrection).

Motivation for joining the Corps: Employment stability, benefits.

Incident record: 46 bar fights (0 started; always provoked by other party)

Key strengths: Above-average physical strength, even for his species. Above-average intelligence for his species (exceeding (!) average human intelligence).

Known weaknesses: Gambling - occasionally.

Risks and threats: None (that we can identify at this point).

Suggested actions: ISB has not been able to identify any immediate threats outside of gambling (potential addiction, gambling dues, etc.). However, limited available reliable records and a combination of personal traits (intelligent, solitary alien) suggest Corporal Redloc should be under constant supervision and monitoring.

Summary:
Relatively quiet, do-his-job-but-not-much-more kind. Nearly ideally average in job efficiency (1.35% OAR). Takes part in most social activities by his co-workers, but rarely takes the lead in anything. His incident record, although suspicious, is valid: witnesses of all incidents said that it was another party who started the incident (most often: “to check rumours on Devaronians being so strong”).

While his co-workers and Epsilon Squadron pilots have not noted anything suspicious about Corporal Redloc, as a nonhuman with very limited confirmed records in databases, Corporal should be monitored for potential subversive activity. Devaronians have a confirmed history of difficulty in following orders and maintaining discipline. This one seems almost too perfect to be real.

Name: Chef Shoan Vondar
Role: Personal Cook to CMDR/MAJ Genie, Lambda Squadron Flight 1
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Age: 44 standard years
Origin: Yag’Dhul
Description: A celebrity that does everything he can to maintain and exploit this status.
Further Info: IS Profile (Wiki)
Threat level: High

>> Hide View <<

Education: Yag’Gdul Planetary Culinary Academy – graduated with honours

Marital status: Single, 5 children.

Material status: Difficult to confirm. Officially – no wealth. Unofficially – leading a life of a celebrity, spending significant amounts of money (acquired from where? Unclear!) on a whim.

Family background: Parents are sports celebrities on Yag’Dhul. Vondar is only legal child (though both parents have multiple extramarital children).

Motivation for joining the Corps: Not officially enlisted. Hired directly by CMDR/MAJ Genie.

Incident record: During current employment: none. Previously: multiple DUI, illegal spice possession, sexual harassment and other charges, but no convictions.

Key strengths: Excellent cook/chef (had opportunity to verify during a dinner with CMDR/MAJ Genie). Extremely easily establishes relationships (though he focuses on humanoid females, but not exclusively).

Known weaknesses: Extravagant lifestyle. Huge spending habits. Tendency

Risks and threats: No proven loyalty to the Empire. Unchecked access to CMRD/MAJ Genie.

Suggested actions: Run full background and loyalty check. Constantly monitor all communications and activities.

Summary:
This celebrity cook from Yag’Dhul may be a master in his arts, but as any such artist is keen to flashiness and extravagant lifestyle. If aforementioned would be threatened, there is no assurance of his loyalty to the Fleet and/or Empire. Obviously, Vondar is a celebrity and does everything he can to maintain and exploit this status. Vondar is the “star” of every social gathering of Lambda (and others; he never misses an opportunity to “shine,” even in front of senior staff), often using this unofficial “status” for personal gain.

Inquiry: Who allowed CMDR/MAJ Genie to hire him? Who pays his wage (which is assumably horrendous)? If proven an Imperial loyalist, potential to utilize as an agent?

Name: LT Kyla Typhe
Role: Requisition Officer, ISDII Hammer
Race: Twi'Lek
Gender: Female
Age: 32 standard years
Origin: Nal-Hutta
Description: A very attractive and social person, easily establishing relationships with various crew members and performing her duties above average.
Further Info: IS Profile (Wiki)
Threat level: Medium

>> Hide View <<

Education: No record available.

Marital status: Single.

Material status: Wealthy for her species.

Family background: Parents were slaves to various Hutt families on Nal-Hutta; assumed dead for over 30 years, but no records exist to confirm – Hutts do not care for creating recordsfor slaves. At least 5 known siblings, but no known established relationship with Lieutenant Typhe (likely siblings were sold to various Hutt families). Motivation for joining the Corps: Despises Hutts, slavery and any form of chaos (thus despises the rebels as well). Wants to establish Imperial order as wide across the galaxy as possible because she sees it as a way to destroy what she hates.

Incident record: 3 inappropriate relationship with fellow crew members.

Key strengths: Above-average memory, analytical skills. Methodical, practical. According to other crew members – extremely attractive.

Known weaknesses: Former addiction to spice. Tendency to use various addictive and psychoactive substances. Lack of technical and/or mechanical knowledge, as well as limited combat skills deem her unfit for any combat position.

Risks and threats: Medium likelihood of return to active spice addiction. Low-to-medium likelihood of rogue actions if faced with choice between Imperial duty and revenge on Hutts, slavers, etc. Suggested actions: Constantly monitor psychoactive substance intake and blood levels. In case of EH’s collaborative dealings with any criminal group it is advised to increase monitoring measures on Lieutenant Typhe to ensure her loyalty stays on the correct side.

Summary:
Lieutenant Typhe is difficult to decipher. On one hand, she is a very attractive and social person, easily establishing relationships with various crew members and performing her duties above average. On the other she is often knowingly taking advantage of naive fresh officers to acquire benefits ranging from personal gifts (likes expensive minerals), through priority seating at cultural venues.

Lack of reliable records from her home planet and her susceptibility to potential rogue actions introduce further uncertainty into the assessment of Lieutenant. While she is over-performing at her position and is valuable to the Fleet, her flaws may potentially deem her expendable for the greater benefit of the Corps.

Name: CM Hearn Langin
Role: Captain, ISD-II Hammer
Race: Human (Nubian)
Gender: Male
Age: 59 standard years
Origin: Nubia
Description: A stern and ambitious man.
Further Info: IS Profile (Wiki)

He was born on the planet Nubia 30 years before the battle of Yavin. His family had a strong connection to Industrial Automacon and the Nubian shipyards as he came from a long line of engineers and senior managers and it was long anticipated that he would follow them into one of the many industries native to Nubia.

His early years we are fairly non-descript has he did not excel in school or in any other field such as sports. He did however continue to keep his head down and study hard and at the age of 16 which was shortly after the formation of the Empire he won an appointment to the Imperial Academy.

He graduated from Academy at the age of 21 and he was immediately appointed to the strike cruiser inflexible as a member of the bridge crew. Over the following five years he slowly worked his way up from a lowly Ensign to the rank of Lieutenant where he oversaw the Inflexible's nightshift.

At the age of 26, 4 BBY, his dedication to the imperial cause was noted and rewarded as he was promoted to captain of the Dreadnought Cruiser Solar Night, a post he heels and excelled at until 1 ABY where upon he was appointed XO aboard the Star Destroyer Night Templar which was part of the Sector Fleet at Kuat.

In 4 ABY, the lack of competent officers following the Endor debacle sees then Commander Langin reassigned to the Star Destroyer Hammer as XO.

As XO Hearn was instrumental in the day to day running of the star destroyers crew, overseeing thee duty roster and the daily meetings with department heads.

In 10 ABY The captain of the star destroyer hammer was promoted to serve on board a super star destroyer avenger creating a vacancy as captain of the hammer. Hearn was quick to take advantage of this, rapidly securing appointment to the top spot aboard the vessel. This is a position he has now held for 19 years and has shown no sign of slowing down having worked with a succession of Commodores now that the hammer is the lead vessel in its own battle group.

As captain of the star destroyer hammer his responsibility is for his ship and crew however given his vessel is also the flagship of a admiral who leads a much larger force he is careful to ensure that he follows his flag officers leaders orders.

Off duty the Captain enjoys spending his three time reading many of the latest novels to come out of Nubia or spending time planet side and enjoying many of the natural scenes found in the aurora system. He has a keen interest in combat tactics and can often be found in the simulator complex trying out different tactical communications on historical fleet battles.

Lieutenant Commander Malin Resment serves as the Chief Navigator aboard the Imperial II Class Star Destroyer Hammer, a position he has held for 15 years (since 14 ABY). Prior to his elevation to the position of Chief Navigator he served as one of the assistants, carrying out general chart maintenance and serving on the night shift when on duty. He joined the Hammers navigation team in 1 ABY, a year after the Battle of Yavin and prior to the fall of the Empire at the age of 23. Before this he served as Chief Navigator aboard the Strike Cruiser Tellamarine but was promoted during the reign of the Emperor.

Malin was born on Coruscant in 22 BBY, three years before the establishment of the Empire in the waning days of the Old Republic. His parents were local Coruscant merchants, trading in off world goods that were brought to the world by a variety of freighters owned by extended family and business partners. Malin spent many years as a child and youth journeying on these vessels as his parents had hopes he would enter the family business. These journeys taught him the importance of astro-navigation and was his initial exposure to a future career in navigation. Given how he excelled with mapping and charting work his parents enrolled him in the Imperial Academy, seeing that a career in moving freight would be a waste of his talents.

Malin enjoyed his time at the academy, although it was plain to see that he had not future in combat as his flight scores were atrocious and his hand to hand combat teacher viewed him as pathetic at best. His organizational skills though were above average, and the academy staff took the view that he would have an exemplary bridge crew career ahead of him in the field of navigation, which was advice he took.

Upon graduation from the academy he was assigned to the navigation crew aboard the Strike Cruiser Tellamarine, where he saw his first taste of combat as a member of the crew when clearing out a pirates nest near the Lorinor System. Lieutenant Resment, as he was at the time served aboard the Strike Cruiser for 5 years before being assigned to the Imperial Star Destroyer Hammer in 1 ABY as a junior member of the bridge crew.

Over the course of the next 13 years he held a number of roles on the navigation team, including chart maintenance officer, navigation sensor team lead and finally as assistant navigator which allowed him access to the bridge as a member of the night shift.

In 14 ABY after years of exemplary service he was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and made Chief Navigator, a position that he still holds today as a member of the bridge crew.

Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 23 standard years
Origin: Lothal
Description: Talented and a valuable member of the team.
Further Info: IS Profile (Wiki)

Lleni grew up in the city of Jalalth on the former Imperial world of Lothal to a local mother and an Imperial Officer father. One year before her birth the New Republic took control of the world, during the fighting her father was killed whilst protecting the local Imperial airbase.

Llenis childhood was marked by an attempt to fit in as a wave of anti-Imperial sentiment swept the planet. Her moth did the best she could to ensure that they fit in and that their Imperial links remained hidden from neighbors and friends. In 22 ABY at the age of 16 Lleni left the local educational system and enrolled in the local mechanics guild as she had displayed an aptitude for engineering. Over the following 3 years she excelled in her classes, ranking near the top of her age group consistently.

All the while both Lleni and her mother maintained their Imperial links, taking large risks to stay in communication with the Lothal Imperial underground network in the hope that one day the Empire would rise again.

At the age of 19 (25 ABY) Lleni and her month made use of these links to leave their homeworld and book passage initially towards the Imperial remnants in the Deep Core, before changing their plans when they heard word of another growing Imperial force based in the Aurora System, which was the Emperor's Hammer. Upon their arrival on Aurora Prime, Lleni and her mother quickly found employment with the Imperial fleet. Whilst her mother setup a small shop in the main Imperial encampment, Lleni won herself a berth on the elderly Victory Class Star Destroyer Rapier as a member of the engineering staff.

Recruited as a junior member of the team she quickly showed her talent and over the following 4 years became a valued member of the team, rising to become an assistant to the ships Chief Engineer. In 29 ABY when space became available on the ISD Hammer Lleni secured the Assistant Engineer position aboard an Imperial Class Star Destroyer.

Most of her time is spent dealing with the larger vessels intricate systems and assisting her Chief Engineer with overseeing the ships large engineering team, but during her spare time she enjoys tinkering with fighter systems, building a growing collection of droids which are mostly R2 and R5 units that she has modified to help her with her work, or reading the latest holo novels that have come out of the Deep Core worlds.

The crew of the Second iteration Imperial-class Star Destroyer Hammer is a varied crew from multiple backgrounds. In ABY 20, a strange thing happened to this Wookiee. She had an unexpected encounter with a certain Epis. As Wor observed the brooding human, she noticed he was not only unafraid, but seemed to emanate a dangerous aura. She started circling around to see the human better and came face to face with a human woman with a glare that could burn hair. She spun away and started to run. A moment later, a painful sting caught her in the back.

She snarled loudly and leapt up to a tree, only to find her arms were not responding. Seconds later, she was surrounded by Imperial stormtroopers. She growled menacingly as the troopers closed in around her. She felt the first rifle butt slam into her followed by a second. She looked up as the third smashed her face. She closed her eyes and waited for the next blow only to here gurgling from several creatures. She tentatively opened her eyes to see the strange human with his hand outstretched holding the 4 troopers in the air. She vaguely remembered hearing him growl “I gave orders that there would be no harm done to any of the occupants of Kashyyyk. I meant none.” She heard each of the troopers fall to the ground lifeless.

Talons was standing over her in a med-bay when she came to. “I apologize. No harm was meant to come to you, nor was anyone authorized to engage.” She blinked once, looked to the side, saw she was with a small handful of what seemed mechanics, and softly hooted. Talons nodded. “Yes, the troopers are not here. I eliminated them for disobeying my orders to prevent interference without engagement. Tell me, where is the map?” Since that day, Talons not only found a smart and insightful crew member, but also one that was especially good at armour and heavy structure. Of the 12 members of the crew, Worshyyric is not only the most well liked, she is the most gentle.

When she was in the office of the academy captain, she was sure she was about to get expelled and relegated to a mine somewhere. As she entered the room, a slim but weathered mechanic waited. Lucinda turned to her and nodded. “Yes, she is the one. Commander Pryde specifically asked for her.” Karina looked confused. The captain was also bewildered. “Fine,” he said.

The crew of the Second iteration Imperial-class Star Destroyer Hammer is a varied crew from multiple backgrounds. One particular group forms the mechanics and maintenance crews of Alpha squadron's flight 3's flight leader. These 12 women are both beautiful and deadly. Each has the training and the skill to perform any repairs or adjustments to a fighter not only in a hangar, but also in the field. In addition to their impressive engineering skills, they are more than capable of holding their own in a pitched fire fight. Their leader, a bronzed mahogany skinned, cascading raven tresses, burnt almond coloured eyed, elegant built human, was personally chosen by her pilot. Her playful coldness unnerved most of the people she came across. Her name? Lucinda of Jade Falcon.

She stood a paltry 1.6 metres and amassed no more than 50 kilos. Having been genetically bred for her job, she excels in it. No mechanical device, instrument, or vehicle was too complicated for her to master within a week or two of its discovery. Her expertise falls just short of qualifications for piloting. Even with her drive and motivation, she failed to qualify for mechwarrior in her trial. Her marks earned her the right to choose her field. She could have gone second line mech, but instead opted for front line maintenance. This simple choice brought her into contact with Talons.

At that time, he was not yet blood-named. What he saw in her was something no other pilot had. He saw cunning, tactics, and innovation beyond what was expected of a technician. When Talons earned the name Pryde, he chose, instead of a front line mech, Lucinda as his prize. She was at first very displeased. Talons sat her down and showed her his ideas for mechs and system improvements. For the first time in her life, she felt that she was appreciated for her abilities. From that point on, she insisted on being there with him wherever he went. She improved his cybernetics and helped design the interface. Now, as she starts to feel her age, she has nothing but the most affectionate admiration for Talons. If it ever comes down to the unit or Talons, Talons is the always the choice. She personally screens any potential member of the flight care team and is the only one other than Talons himself to touch Talons' personal craft.
